About This Role
Aristocrat Technologies India P/L is seeking a skilled Mathematical Game Developer to join our team. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for designing math models for games, including return to player percentages, hit frequencies, standard deviations, and other metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement math models for assigned games, including return to player percentages, hit frequencies, standard deviations, and other metrics.
- Verify and analyze math models using programming tools.
- Collaborate with other game designers and mathematicians on new ideas, game reviews, and improvements to games in production.
- Peer review other game designers and mathematicians' math models and documentation.
- Generate new game ideas with an understanding of market trends.
- Schedule and manage time efficiently, working with agile development leaders to plan work.
- Deliver assets on time to specification, with a thorough and complete attention to detail.
- Responsible for having peer reviews to check work for accuracy and quality.
Requirements
- 1-3 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a field with a strong mathematical component, such as statistics.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Programming skills desirable, with C/C++ preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Creativity.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with global stakeholders.
