Product Visionary

This role involves shaping the future of smart home products, defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of users, market trends, and technical limits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with user needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products and features throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Advocate for the user experience, ensuring products are intuitive, reliable, and meet a high-quality bar.
  • Build and improve scalable solutions for Google devices. Use data, user research, and market analysis to make product decisions, prioritize features, and track success.

In this role, you will integrate emerging technologies like AI/ML to innovate smart home experiences. You will clearly communicate product plans, rationale, and results to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • Experience in product development, roadmap strategy, requirements gathering, working with cross-functional teams, and stakeholder management.

We are looking for someone with expertise in defining and delivering outstanding user experiences, especially for mobile or integrated hardware/software solutions. Strong technical understanding is essential, enabling effective communication and collaboration with engineering teams on complex topics.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience with Smart Home, IoT, and Consumer Electronics.
  • Experience with platform development, building scalable solutions, or working with third-party developer ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with consumer hardware development cycles or smart home connectivity standards and protocols (e.g., Matter, Wi-Fi, Thread).
