Job Description & Expectations

We are looking for highly entrepreneurial and creative Product Development Leaders to help innovate, develop and iterate product features for Pro-Manage.

In this position, you will:

  1. Assume responsibility for the success of an Epic (related set of features) of Pro-Manage by innovating and developing them to launch and, most importantly, ensuring the use of the Epic feature set by clients.
  2. Be the Epic evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical/developer community.
  3. Further, assume secondary responsibility for customer acquisition/retention/growth and for broader platform innovation based on continuous discovery of customer needs.
  4. Assume responsibility for the use of the platform by customers and will analyze them consistently and constantly to understand customer preferences and pain points to develop responsive product features.
  5. Understand both stated and latent customer needs using the state-of-the-art continuous discovery and customer journey tracking to specify and enhance product features.
  6. Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Business Development and Technology teams to create a delightful and unified customer experience and journey from a prospect to a highly valuable customer.
  7. Evaluate competitive product/service offerings and draw the best features to incorporate in our own product offering.
  8. Evaluate enabling technologies to improve our product features.
  9. Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product.
  10. Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
  11. Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.

The position is based in our headquarters in Chennai.

Experience, Expertise and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  1. 2+ years of proven experience and expertise in digital product development, preferably for consumer internet or SaaS platforms.
  2. Hands-on experience in developing user stories, customer journeys and detailed product specifications.
  3. Working closely and collaboratively with technology teams to deliver product features with quality on time.
  4. Understanding of principles of continuous discovery and agile product development methods.
  5. Understanding of usability and design thinking principles to develop delightful products.
  6. Inclination and capability to analyze platform or product usage by customers to develop responsive features.
Technical Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  1. Outstanding analytical skills of developing insights from data using tools such as Excel, Tableau, R, SPSS.
  2. Outstanding Excel skills.
  3. Strong communication skills, both in spoken and written modes.
  4. Ability to explain features and benefits thereof to others in the team.
  5. High level of comfort with technology and systems.
  6. Product management skills.
  7. Structured forecasting.
  8. Systematic funnel development and prospect follow-up processes.
  9. Experience using CRM and systematically logging all business development data.
