Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications using Python.

The role involves architecting and implementing solutions using MongoDB, Redis, FAST API, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is necessary for integrating React-based frontends and backend services.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data platforms including Impala for high-performance querying and Autosys for job scheduling.

Maintaining code quality, performance, and security standards across all development efforts is crucial.

Experience in mentoring and managing a team of 10-15 developers is also required, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Effective communication with stakeholders from banking operations, risk, and compliance is essential for aligning technical solutions with business needs.

  • Technical Requirements:
  • Strong background in Python development with at least 5-6 years of experience
  • Expertise in MongoDB, Redis, FAST API, and containerization
  • Solid understanding of React Framework and frontend-backend integration
  • Familiarity with Impala, Autosys, and distributed systems
  • Proven leadership experience in managing mid-sized engineering teams

Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is mandatory.
