Opportunity exists for a seasoned system architect to lead the development, optimization, and automation of CAD/EDA infrastructure for global teams.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience with LSF and RTM deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments. Expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement advanced LSF features such as license fair share, preemption, and global EDA tool license sharing.
  • Lead the transformation of CAD-Infrastructure LSF setup to optimize resource utilization across worldwide teams.
  • Design and implement development, testing, and production environments for LSF enhancement.
  • Automate key infrastructure processes such as resource utilization reporting, demand-supply analysis, and system health monitoring.
  • Develop dashboards and proactive monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with global teams to deploy, maintain, and enhance LSF and RTM solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management.
  • Automation scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell scripting).
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN).
  • Experience with version control tools (Perforce, Methodic) is beneficial.
  • Understanding of EDA tools, license features, and use cases is highly desirable.
