Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer at RSA Security, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code. Additionally, you will work with product management and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
Implement performance optimizations and enhancements
Collaborate with team members to define and design new features
Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to development standards
Investigate and debug complex issues, identifying and implementing solutions promptly
Work closely with product management and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
6+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on C++
Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
Solid understanding of multithreading and concurrency in C++
Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Jenkins
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Hands-on experience with LINUX, Unix
Good understanding of DevOps, Build pipeline concepts
Excellent analyzing, troubleshooting, and debugging skills of C++ code base
Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols. Knowledge in Packet analyzer tools (Wireshark etc)
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
Experience in cybersecurity is highly desirable
