Job Overview

The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in financial planning and analysis. With a minimum of 15-20 years of experience in the field, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of evaluating and improving internal control processes, as well as consolidating financial data from multiple entities or business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing internal control processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop recommendations to strengthen internal controls and implement changes to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Coordinate the consolidation of financial data from multiple entities or business units, ensuring accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements related to internal controls and financial consolidation, providing guidance to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including consolidated financial statements, and collaborate with accounting teams to resolve consolidation-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Document internal control processes, procedures, and key controls, and conduct risk assessments to identify potential control weaknesses and areas of exposure.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, analyzing variances between actual results and budget/forecasted amounts and providing explanations for discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial models and scenarios to evaluate potential outcomes and assess risk, and present financial analysis findings to senior management and provide recommendations for action.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information, and support long-term financial planning processes, such as strategic plans and capital expenditure budgets.
