Key Role

We are launching a pioneering product at the intersection of social platforms and financial portfolios. This is a pre-revenue, early-stage startup that requires an experienced technical leader to own the product, drive innovation, and build high-performing systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop a robust tech strategy, deliver a lean, testable MVP for mobile devices that showcases core product capabilities.
  • Design, deploy, and iterate: transition from manual portfolio uploads to secure brokerage connections, live feeds, and scalable infrastructure.
  • Establish a serverless-first backend architecture, oversee all infrastructure and releases.
  • Hire and manage a small engineering team as the product expands.
  • Implement monitoring, observability, automated testing, and shipping workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with founders on product strategy, growth, and go-to-market initiatives.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Demonstrated expertise in building production mobile apps (multiple shipped apps on app stores).
  • Full-stack experience: frontend mobile, backend (serverless or Node/Go/Python), databases (Postgres/Supabase/Firebase), and storage solutions.
  • Proficiency in React Native/Expo or Flutter or native Android + iOS — and the ability to choose the right stack for rapid development.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs, OAuth flows, and secure token handling (integration with broker APIs planned).
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of market data APIs, trading, or brokerage integrations (helpful but not required).
  • Expertise in Supabase/Postgres, Redis, real-time sockets, and scaling mobile backends.

This role offers equity-only compensation, cofounder-level participation — a meaningful percentage for a founding CTO. Equity details will be negotiated based on experience, commitment, and contribution.
