At Genpact, we dream big and dare to be different. As a Management Trainee in our Accounts Receivable team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' sales revenue translates into cash in their bank accounts.

Job Description:

The AR team is responsible for all cash inflows, including invoicing, payment collections, cash application, deductions, and credit risk management. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing invoicing, payment collections, and cash application processes
  • Responding to customer queries related to payment, disputes, and collections
  • Maintaining exception logs for process-related exceptions
  • Preparing and completing SOPs and process manuals as per client requirements
  • Performing daily internal audits
  • Collections management for all assigned divisions/entities, including credit card collections and processing
  • Period close and reconciliations
  • Customer communications, including dunning processes, emails, and customer portals
  • Managing AR ageing at a customer level
  • Deductions management, including trade and non-trade deductions

You will work closely with the AR team to ensure seamless execution of these tasks and contribute to the growth and success of the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
  • Relevant work experience in invoice-to-cash transactional activities
  • Strong English language skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure

Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Apps, Billing, and proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and MS Office are highly desirable.
