Job Description:

An OpenShift Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our platform, providing technical leadership to L2 engineers and acting as the subject matter expert for complex issue resolution, architectural improvements, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include leading critical or complex OpenShift and Kubernetes issues, performing deep-dive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning. The role also involves overseeing cluster capacity, performance, and scaling, as well as planning and executing platform upgrades, migrations, and architecture changes.

The ideal candidate will have experience with automation and GitOps tooling, such as Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Flux, as well as a strong knowledge of container networking, ingress, and service mesh technologies.

Additionally, this position requires excellent communication and presentation skills for client engagement, as well as relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Linux administration
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in OpenShift (v4 preferred)
  • Expert-level understanding of Kubernetes internals, API objects, Operators
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
