Automation Engineer Position

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a key role in which you will design and develop scalable Python scripts for task and process automation. You will build Flask-based APIs to enable cross-application integrations, write and manage SQL queries, and support Oracle DB interactions as needed.

You will also maintain and enhance Windows batch files, use UNIX commands for system tasks, and support and troubleshoot VB scripts and macros in existing automation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop scalable Python scripts for task and process automation.
  2. Build Flask-based APIs to enable cross-application integrations.
  3. Write and manage SQL queries and support Oracle DB interactions as needed.
  4. Maintain and enhance Windows batch files and use UNIX commands for system tasks.
  5. Support and troubleshoot VB scripts and macros in existing automation processes.
  6. Collaborate with business teams to gather automation requirements.
  7. Handle incident management and task resolution within SLAs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong Python programming skills with experience in Selenium, Pandas, NumPy.
  • Hands-on with Flask API development and modular Python scripting.
  • Moderate knowledge of SQL and Oracle DB procedures.
  • Experience with batch scripting and UNIX commands.
  • Familiarity with RPA and automation workflows.
  • Ability to debug legacy VB scripts and Excel macros.
  • GIT for source code management.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and Argo Workflows is an added advantage.
