Job Title: SAP IS-U/BPEM Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP IS-U/BPEM Consultant to join our team at SMARTWORK IT SERVICES. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP IS-U BPEM functionality and best practices, with experience in configuring and customizing business partner roles, relationships, and attributes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain business partner roles, relationships, and attributes within the SAP IS-U environment.
  • Ensure alignment of business partner data with organizational structures and processes.
  • Develop and implement business partner data governance policies.
  • Actively participate in SAP IS-U implementation and upgrade projects, focusing on BPEM components.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather business requirements and design BPEM solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance during implementation and testing phases.
  • Oversee the management of business partner master data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop data quality procedures and conduct regular data audits.
  • Implement data migration strategies for new business partners or organizational changes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate BPEM processes with other SAP modules (e.g., CRM, FI) and external systems.
  • Develop and maintain interfaces to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and provide technical support.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to business partner management processes, providing timely support to end-users.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring problems.
  • Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing to ensure the functional integrity of BPEM solutions.
  • Develop test cases and scripts to validate BPEM configurations and processes.
  • Provide training to end-users on business partner functionalities and best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of BPEM configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Analyze existing BPEM processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of SAP IS-U BPEM functionality and best practices.
  • Experience in configuring and customizing business partner roles, relationships, and attributes.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and data quality standards.
  • Experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., ALE, BAPI, Web Services).
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in SAP IS-U or related areas.
  • Experience with ABAP for customizations and enhancements.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to the utility industry.
  • Experience with data migration and data cleansing tools.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard data models and reference data.
