Job Description

Your Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our cross-functional team in building and supporting an AWS cloud native application for the financial services industry.
  • The project has been actively developed for the past three years, with strong test automation in place from unit testing to end-to-end browser testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features, perform refactoring, and provide support for the existing application.

Qualifications

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • You possess 8+ years of experience in web application development.
  • 4+ years of experience with Node.JS is required.
  • Experience with React/Redux is also necessary.
  • You must have a solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes – debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring.
  • Asynchronous processing using queues is also a requirement.
  • You should be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • AWS services such as Lambda, S3, ECS, Cloud formation, and IAM are desirable; we can help you develop these skills if needed.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, especially related to fund accounting, is an advantage.
