Job Opportunity: Procurement and Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking an experienced coffee professional to join our team as a procurement and quality assurance expert. This role is field-intensive, requiring strong technical expertise, relationship skills, and a passion for coffee.

Responsibilities:
  • Visit coffee farms and curing works across Karnataka to evaluate beans before purchase.
  • Carry out quality checks from farm collection to curing and sorting.
  • Cup and evaluate samples to ensure consistency with export specifications.
  • Prepare traceability and quality reports for each lot procured.
  • Coordinate procurement activities once contracts with suppliers are finalized.
  • Manage logistics from farm to curing works and up to export stage (sampling, weighment, warehousing).
  • Maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and curing units.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in coffee (procurement, quality control, cupping, or farm-level operations).
  • Strong knowledge of green coffee beans, grading, curing processes, and cup quality analysis.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation for traceability and compliance.
  • Familiarity with export-related logistics and processes is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Kannada (mandatory); basic English for reporting and supplier/buyer coordination.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Karnataka's coffee-growing regions.
  • High integrity, reliability, and a genuine passion for coffee.
