About Our IT Operations Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Unix or Linux Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of our software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Automation: You will monitor system performance and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Incident Management: You will respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Capacity Planning: You will assess system capacity and plan for future growth to ensure scalability.
  • Collaboration: You will work closely with development teams to integrate reliability into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Disaster Recovery: You will prepare and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Performance Optimization: You will analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements.

You'll Bring:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux), cloud services (AWS, Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java for automation and scripting tasks.
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and ELK stack.
  • DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system issues.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of operating systems, cloud services, and containerization. They should also be proficient in programming languages and have experience with monitoring and logging tools. Additionally, they should be familiar with DevOps methodologies and have strong problem-solving skills.
