Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of civil and interior works, including retail showrooms, hotels, and commercial interiors. He/She will ensure that all works are carried out as per approved design drawings, documents, contract technical specifications, and quality plans as per brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 14 to 17 years' experience as Project and Construction Manager in Civil & Interior works execution.
  • Responsible for all Civil, Interior work and MEP works.
  • Managed a team size of 20 nos of Engineers & Supervisors.
  • Experienced in Stone Cladding of Façade both Wet & Dry Cladding.
  • Inspecting all interior fit out, finishes, FF&E, Loose furniture and comparing it with drawings and specifications.
  • Measuring and checking the building materials in terms of quality and identifying any defects and suggesting ways to correct them.
  • Monitoring and reporting work progress to the VP Engineering.
  • Assisting the Site team & Coordinating with PMO for verification, validation, and certification of bills.
  • Responsible for QA & QC. Preparing snag list and following up the contractors to de-snag and ensuring handing over to the Operations Team.
  • Coordinating with all vendor's sub-contractors and vendors for the quality of works at site.
  • Ensuring that all works are carried out as per approved design drawings, documents, contract technical specifications, and quality plans as per brand standards.
  • Following the correct method statement along with the checklist in place.
  • Conducting and monitoring work progress on a daily basis.
  • Reviewing the manpower requirement and allocating the work fronts.
  • Issuing a non-compliance report when noticing any deviations/variance at site.
  • Monitoring the material availability at site and forecasting the material requirement and informing the PMO in advance.
  • Meeting the schedule and targets as assigned by the VP and raising the flag on missing targets.
  • Tracking the planned vs Actual progress of each project in terms of Schedule, Resources, and Cost.
  • Ensuring safety and implementing safe practices to make the site an accident-free zone.
  • Coordinating with Civil and M&E department and ensuring smooth flow of works.
  • Working knowledge of AUTOCAD & MS PROJECT is mandatory.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 14 to 17 years' experience as Project and Construction Manager in Civil & Interior works execution.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team size of 20 nos of Engineers & Supervisors.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good understanding of construction management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of AUTOCAD & MS PROJECT.
