Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Reliability Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role, with a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly AWS.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive DevOps culture and practices within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, including performance optimization, testing techniques, and capacity planning
* Extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including tools like GitHub or similar (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps)
* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools, such as Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, and Ansible
* Experience with cloud backup and disaster recovery planning and execution, using tools like AWS Backup and Azure Site Recovery
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and independently drive tasks to completion without needing direct instruction
* Strong understanding of change management processes and incident management, including being on-call
