Job Title: Film Intern

We are looking for an ambitious and creative individual to assist in the production of a documentary film highlighting India's advancements in space science and technology.

  • The project requires strong narrative craft, research, and storytelling skills in the science and technology domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director in day-to-day project activities during pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Support in developing English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures.
  • Conduct background research on Space initiatives, history, and related topics.
  • Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
  • Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding.
  • Ensure alignment between the script and the visual storytelling approach.

Requirements:

  • Film school student/recent graduate OR aspiring filmmaker with a keen interest in scientific films.
  • Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
