Job Title: Film Intern
We are looking for an ambitious and creative individual to assist in the production of a documentary film highlighting India's advancements in space science and technology.
- The project requires strong narrative craft, research, and storytelling skills in the science and technology domain.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in day-to-day project activities during pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Support in developing English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures.
- Conduct background research on Space initiatives, history, and related topics.
- Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics.
- Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding.
- Ensure alignment between the script and the visual storytelling approach.
Requirements:
- Film school student/recent graduate OR aspiring filmmaker with a keen interest in scientific films.
- Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
- Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred.
- Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
