Role Overview

The role is responsible for leading the transformation of financial processes across the organization. The successful candidate will have experience in process design, optimization, and implementation. This role requires strong analytical and leadership skills to drive business improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Process Design & Optimization: Develop standardized financial processes aligned with global best practices. Lead process improvement initiatives leveraging methodologies such as lean, six sigma, and automation tools.
  2. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to intercompany transactions. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  3. Change Management: Lead change initiatives related to process updates, system upgrades, or organizational restructuring impacting financial activities.
  4. Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations. Support audits related to financial balances and transactions.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as primary point of contact for financial process issues. Work closely with cross-functional teams to communicate process changes and best practices.
  6. Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs to monitor process effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion)
  • 14+ years of post-qualification experience in Financial Accounting & Process Transformation
  • Exposure to Automation tools – RPA / BI / VB etc.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of IFRS / GAAP
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
