Job Title: Financial Transaction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Financial Transaction Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of financial transactions, ensuring timely cash collection, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Timely cash collection of customer accounts, assessing creditworthiness, minimizing bad debts, and ensuring contract compliance.
  • You will assist in the collection, management, and resolution of outstanding invoices from past-due accounts.
  • Collect overpayments from current and former employees.
  • Work with departmental managers to eliminate the root cause of overpayment.
  • Interfaces with sales support accounts receivable, and directly with the customer to determine the ability to pay, communicate contractual specifications, and enforce remedies in reconciling accounts.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts including delinquency, write-offs, credit memos, and additional interest.
  • Conducts pre-sale credit risk evaluation, prepares recommendations, and makes credit approval decisions on new accounts.
  • Duties and tasks are standard with some variation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
