Key Role: Senior Automation Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced automation engineer to join our dynamic team. As a senior automation engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test cases, executes test suites, review and diagnose reported bugs, and ensure overall system quality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with experience in Selenium/Playwright for automation testing, Java for test platform development, AWS/Azure, API testing - RESTful, and automation frameworks like Pytest and Testng.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle, reproduce, debug, and isolate problems, and verify fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain automated test cases and execute test suites
  • Review and diagnose reported bugs and ensure overall system quality
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated suites of tests through continuous integration
  • Work with engineering teams to derive testing requirements
  • Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes

Requirements:

  • Strong background in software testing and automation
  • Experience in Selenium/Playwright for automation testing
  • Experience in Java for test platform development
  • Hands-on experience in AWS/Azure
  • Hands-on experience in API testing - RESTful
  • Hands-on experience in automation frameworks like Pytest and Testng
  • Experience with Linux
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills
