Key Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer plays a pivotal role in overseeing and driving end-to-end operations. This position is responsible for streamlining processes, ensuring effective governance, and aligning business functions with strategic objectives.

The incumbent will lead, monitor, and enhance overall operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and seamless execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operations Management: Lead and oversee the overall operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Excellence: Define, implement, and improve process flows to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Evaluate and report on transaction status, ensuring transparency and timely updates.
  • Tech Oversight: Provide strategic direction and oversight for IT systems and processes to support business scalability and security.
  • Culture & People Development: Oversee HR function including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement to build a high-performing culture.
  • Financial Stewardship: Supervise Finance function to ensure sound financial management, compliance, and accurate reporting.
  • Risk Governance: Provide oversight to the Audit function, ensuring strong internal controls and proactive risk management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services with significant exposure to ARC / NBFC / Banking operations.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing ARC business.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and process management capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
