Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Analysis Engineer - Subsea Production System Specialist. As a key member of our Heavy Engineering Division, you will be responsible for performing FEA analysis of subsea production systems and surface equipment products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret customer technical specifications and industry codes
  • Create and review technical documents for existing or new technology or applications
  • Use sound engineering judgment, classical calculations, and analysis programs to analyze designs and generate new designs
  • Participate in design reviews and provide specialist piping, jumper, or flowline design advice to other engineers
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing designs to ensure functionality and manufacturability
  • Independently develop solutions to problems by analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating data
  • Anticipate potential problems and take preventative actions
  • Responsible for quality and on-time-delivery of assigned tasks
  • Ensure good personal time management and weekly time entry into SAP system
  • Provide input to and support improvements to processes or work instructions
  • Ensure that assignments conform to TechnipFMC guidelines and specifications

Requirements

  • BE or MTech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience with background in analyzing subsea/surface equipment preferred
  • Ansys or Abaqus tool knowledge is a must
  • Knowledge of industry-specific design codes like ASME, API, DNV, NORSK, and ISO
  • Experience in Oil and Gas equipment finite element analysis
  • Should be able to do hands-on Finite Element analysis
  • Experience in high-pressurized equipment/Boiler vessels/Heavy Engineering
  • Must be able to verify and substantiate FEA results with classical hand calculation methods
  • Proficient in Non-Linear analysis
  • Proficient in Structural and Thermal analysis
  • Experience with welded and bolted structure analysis

Additional Skills

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • HR/HSE/Quality induction training
  • TCE and intranet system training
  • TechnipFMC subsea system and product training modules
  • Relevant TechnipFMC processes and local work instructions
  • Analysis software training as required

Relationship Responsibilities

  • Individual contributor and also review & approve analysis work of others
  • Able to do technical supervision/guiding of a group of analysts
  • Frequent contact and interface with internal organization (Engineers, Drafters, Quality, Project Managers, Site Fabrication team)
  • Some contact with external customers
