About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team. This is a critical role that requires an individual with strong knowledge of modern cybersecurity principles, tools, and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support and Operations:
    • Deliver prompt, effective technical assistance for employees.
    • Provide comprehensive support across hardware, software, SaaS platforms, and user account administration.
    • Collaborate on infrastructure upgrades, re-fits, and relocations, including cabling, AV, and hardware setup.
    • Ensure secure onboarding and offboarding processes for users.
  • Cybersecurity Leadership and Risk Management:
    • Defend systems, applications, networks, and endpoints against cyber threats.
    • Administer security tooling, including EDR platforms, firewalls, patch management systems, and network security appliances.
    • Implement network security policies, endpoint protection, identity controls, and data loss prevention measures.
    • Monitor, assess, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
    • Stay informed on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance, Governance & Asset Management:
    • Support compliance with IT security frameworks and internal policy.
    • Share regular vulnerability management reports with senior stakeholders.
    • Collaborate on fulfilling ISO 27001 and other security standards.
    • Manage IT asset lifecycle, maintaining a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset register.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
    • Partner with teams on cross-functional projects and process improvements.
    • Provide expert guidance to stakeholders and end-users.
    • Champion data security principles across the organization.
    • Lead or contribute to IT projects related to system implementation and process automation.
