Penetration Tester and Security Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to fill the role of Penetration Tester and Security Consultant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in conducting comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on applications, infrastructure, cloud, and network layers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough security audits and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with development, IT, and security teams to validate and mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct retesting to ensure implemented security controls are effective.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in penetration testing and security consulting (application, network, cloud, mobile, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is an asset.
  • Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, eJPT, eCPPT, or similar are desirable.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong documentation and report-writing capabilities.
