Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Job Description:

As a seasoned SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality SAP Finance solutions that align with our global business operations. You will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, providing expertise in SAP FICO configuration, process improvements, project delivery, and support.

A strong candidate would possess 12-15 years of experience in SAP FICO with knowledge in integration with Materials Management (MM) - Procurement and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules. Familiarity with S4/HANA Simple Finance is highly valuable, given its increasing adoption in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Financial Accounting Business Processes, work closely with business teams to understand requirements, analyze current processes, and gather functional specifications. Additionally, they will design, configure, test, and deploy SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-OM, CO-PC, etc.) in alignment with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Must have good knowledge of Financial Accounting Business Processes.
  2. Work closely with business teams to understand the requirements, analyze the current processes and gather the functional specifications.
  3. Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-OM, CO-PC, etc.) in alignment with business requirements.
  4. Lead workshops with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  5. Analyze complex business processes and propose best-practice SAP solutions.
  6. Support rollouts and global template deployments for new company codes, legal entities, and business units.
  7. Work closely with other SAP functional and technical consultants (SD, MM, PP, BASIS, ABAP) to deliver integrated solutions.
  8. Drive system enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvements — including RISE with SAP projects.
  9. Support business users during UAT, data migration, and cutover activities.
  10. Provide day-to-day L2/L3 support for SAP FICO issues and coordinate with partners if applicable.
  11. Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  12. Create and maintain clear functional documentation and training materials.
  13. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  14. 12+ years of strong hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
  15. At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations, preferably including S/4HANA.
Qualifications:
  1. Strong knowledge of SAP Finance (GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Tax, Cost Center, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing).
  2. Strong integration knowledge with other modules (SD, MM, PP).
  3. Experience with RISE with SAP or S/4HANA migration projects.
  4. Proven experience in requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, and hyper care support.
  5. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  7. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
  8. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
