Fashion Data Annotation Role

**Job Description**

The primary objective of this role is to categorize and label fashion items within images. Our team requires a meticulous individual who can review an image, identify the various items it contains, and accurately annotate each item's attributes according to our predefined taxonomy.

As a key member of our data annotation team, you will be responsible for thoroughly examining images containing one or more fashion items, including apparel and accessories. Your task will be to visually assess each item, document specific attributes, and assign tags describing these attributes. Your accuracy will be measured against our pre-defined guide, ensuring that your annotations align with our standards.

Our goal is to create a high-functioning team capable of achieving an unprecedented level of accuracy and velocity in annotating objects within a short time frame. To achieve this, we are looking for individuals with exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to understand and apply visual and written rule sets.

**Required Skills & Knowledge**

  • Visual Assessment**: The ability to visually examine fashion apparel and accessory items, correctly identifying their attributes and capturing them using our annotation tool.
  • Taxonomy Understanding**: A comprehensive understanding of our taxonomy system, which includes standardised fashion terms and custom rule sets.
  • Attention to Detail**: An unwavering commitment to accuracy, ensuring each item is correctly annotated according to our guidelines.
  • Annotation Tool Proficiency**: Familiarity with basic annotation tools, such as those found on AWS-Amazon Web Services.
