Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in contributing to project planning, estimations, and retrospective analysis.

Responsibilities include developing code that meets Bottomline and industry standards, preparing accurate unit test plans, and collaborating with technical leaders on design and implementation.

Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting code changes and unit test results, performing production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance, and participating in deployments on UAT and Production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in software development
  • High understanding of all phases of SDLC and experience working with Agile methodology
  • Strong coding experience in backend technologies Java, J2EE, especially Spring/Spring Boot framework, JPA
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, backbone, marionette, react) is a strong plus
  • Solid experience in designing and developing with relational databases (Postgres/MS-SQL)
  • Strong understanding of RESTful services
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Bitbucket, Gitlab, ArgoCD, and Jenkins
  • Good knowledge of containerised platforms working with Docker and Kubernetes
