Key Responsibilities:- 1. Tax Planning and Strategy Implementation
You will work closely with the tax and finance teams to develop and implement initial direct tax planning strategies that align with the organization's objectives and comply with applicable laws.
2. Data Analysis and PreparationYou will assist in gathering relevant financial data for tax analysis, preparing documentation and reports required for the first-time tax implementation, and verifying data accuracy and completeness to support tax planning and compliance efforts.
3. Compliance SupportYou will assist in preparing and filing initial direct tax returns in compliance with regulations, staying informed about changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact implementation, and collaborating with senior tax professionals to address any compliance issues that may arise.
4. Training and CommunicationYou will provide support in communicating tax strategies and changes to internal stakeholders, offering training and guidance to other departments on the implementation of new tax processes, and addressing queries and concerns related to the first-time tax implementation.
5. Documentation and Record-KeepingYou will maintain organized and up-to-date records of the first-time tax implementation process, ensure documentation is readily available for internal and external audit purposes, and assist in preparing materials for any necessary reporting or documentation requirements.
6. Transfer Pricing ComplianceYou will conduct detailed transfer pricing analyses to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, prepare and document transfer pricing policies, ensuring alignment with international standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for transfer pricing documentation.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, relevant certifications or pursuing professional qualifications, a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and tax concepts, excellent analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ability to adapt to changing tax regulations and a willingness to learn, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with tax software is advantageous.
