Structural Steel Engineer

As a key professional in our international team, you will work closely with clients on industrial and commercial projects. Your primary responsibility as a structural steel engineer will be to thoroughly understand all project scope of work and requirements by studying and interpreting architectural and MEP drawings/models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study and interpret architectural and MEP drawings/models to comprehend the project scope.
  • Design and create 3D steel models, coordinating with multiple disciplines.
  • Prepare detailed 2D structural erection and shop drawings using Tekla Structures.
  • Implement design changes, revisions, and approval comments into the project scope.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare RFIs related to projects, ensuring prompt responses from stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech or Diploma) with at least three years of professional experience.
  • Possess basic knowledge of AutoCAD and sound understanding of Tekla Structures.
  • Have hands-on experience working on international projects adhering to European standards.
  • Proficiency in Idea StatiCA is considered an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and FEM competence for optimal results.
  • Exhibit excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
