The organization requires a skilled professional to serve as the Quality Assurance Manager. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a production environment.
Primary Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices.
- Lead and manage the quality assurance team to ensure effective inspection, testing, and documentation processes are in place.
- Oversee incoming raw material inspection, in-process quality control, and final product verification to guarantee product consistency and quality compliance.
- Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications through regular audits and inspections.
- Conduct internal audits, prepare quality reports, and coordinate with external auditors to maintain certifications and documentation.
- Analyze quality performance data to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production, other departments, and procurement teams to address quality-related issues and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Train staff in quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices to ensure a high level of competence across the organization.
- Drive initiatives to improve certifications and documentation, and promote a zero-defect production culture.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in the paint or automobile industry in a QA Department is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise and practical skills in visual colour assessment, including the ability to accurately evaluate and differentiate shades, tones, and colour variations.
