Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Terraform automation engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation and network automation engineering.

The role involves reviewing Terraform codebases for Cisco SD-WAN deployments, assessing configuration templates and policies, and providing best practice recommendations.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting remote knowledge transfer sessions with our technical team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Terraform Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Terraform modules, variables, templates, and IaC workflows.
  • Cisco SD-WAN Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Cisco SD-WAN components, including vManage, vSmart, vBond, device templates, and policies.
  • State Management: Ability to evaluate and optimize state management strategies, including remote backends, locking, and workspaces.
  • CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, such as Git, SharePoint, or Azure DevOps.
  • Network Automation: Familiarity with network automation best practices and SD-WAN deployment models.
  • Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills, with excellent communication for remote collaboration and client interaction.
