We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Architect to join our organization at Sycamore Informatics Inc.Key Responsibilities:
  • We will require you to develop and execute procedures, automation scripts, and infrastructure implementations to support our SaaS operations. You will be the face of technical expertise and leadership within our SaaS Operations Production Operations teams.
  • You will implement the Cloud Operations team's goals and deliverables as determined by Sycamore Leadership. It is expected that you will ensure smooth operations of our SaaS products.
  • We expect you to take complete ownership of Customer Implementations, including SLA and SLO.
Requirements:
  • You must have 15+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field. We prioritize strong Linux knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • A strong understanding of scripting using Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc., is required. Knowledge of Kubernetes, helm Charts, Terraform, Ansible, Windows Terminal Services, AD, LDAP, etc., is essential.
  • Familiarity with Change, Problem & Incident Management, Vulnerability/Penetration Testing, Security, Tools and frameworks used for monitoring, performance management, logging, CI/CD pipeline, SRE – Including Datadog.
  • You should have hands-on experience in cloud technology – AWS, Azure – AWS preferred.
  • Strong networking skills are necessary.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or any other related discipline.
Desirable Skills:
  • Certifications such as RHEL, Kubernetes, AWS.
Working Environment:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps and cloud technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
