Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing web applications using Python and Django.

Your primary focus will be on developing robust backend services and APIs, ensuring high performance and security. You'll also work with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular, implement web scraping solutions using Selenium or Beautiful Soup, and manage and optimize databases (Mongo DB, SQL, Django ORM).

In addition to your technical skills, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, requiring strong communication skills. You'll lead and mentor a small team (2-3 developers) and report directly to the Product Owner.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • 4+ years of experience in Python & Django development
  • Strong experience in REST APIs, JSON, and web applications
  • Deep knowledge of database transactions, Mongo DB, SQL, and Django ORM
  • Prior experience in web scraping using Selenium or Beautiful Soup
  • Understanding of scalable application architecture
  • Exposure to frontend technologies (Angular is a plus)
  • Experience with Git and project management tools (Jira, Asana – nice to have)
