Reward Operations Manager Role Overview

The Reward Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operational delivery of all reward activities, acting as a key point of escalation for day-to-day matters across compensation, benefits, and incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Delivery: Lead the delivery of reward processes including job architecture, salary ranges, market profiles, benefits administration, and incentive scheme governance.
  • Escalation Point: Act as a 2nd point of escalation for BAU queries (stage 1 resolution handled by analysts).
  • Cyclical Activities: Oversee and project manage cyclical reward activities ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Partnering: Partner with Payroll to ensure benefit processes are accurate and compliant.
  • Talent Development: Coach, mentor, and develop the Reward Analysts to build capability and resilience in the team.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvement, automation, and standardisation of reward operations across markets.
  • Compliance: Maintain strong compliance with legal, tax, and data protection requirements in all reward processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Significant experience in Reward/Compensation & Benefits operations within a complex organisation.
  • Leadership: Strong people management skills with experience leading teams.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Workday capability desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel / modelling capability.
  • Communication: Confident communicator able to influence at senior levels.
