Senior Interior Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative Senior Interior Designer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing development, planning, and creating attractive mood board presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research international designs and trends to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
  2. Evaluate client inputs and ensure satisfaction by sharing project developments as per plans.
  3. Maintain regular communication with vendors, consultants, and clients to guarantee timely delivery of materials and collection of information.
  4. Prepare specification sheets for placing orders and formats for the same while ensuring accuracy of all data.
  5. Coordinate with service consultants and architecture teams during project execution, share ideas with the designing team to facilitate seamless execution, and work closely with 3D visualizers to create realistic 3D models.
  6. Cultivate effective teamwork, delegate responsibilities among team members, and foster a sense of camaraderie within the team.

Requirements:

  • A highly developed aesthetic sense in the use of materials, color, form, texture, proportion, composition, and the ability to take charge and direct younger staff at all project stages.
  • Exceptional design skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in software applications relevant to interior design, including CAD and visualization tools.
