About the Role
  • This is a strategic leadership position that requires expertise in regulatory implementation, review and approval processes, process and system development, reporting, risk management, and guidance and training.

The successful candidate will work closely with various functions to implement effective compliance systems, processes, and controls, ensuring timely submission of reports to regulatory authorities and the board.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Regulatory Implementation: Identify new laws and regulations applicable to our operations and ensure their effective implementation across all functions.
  2. Review & Approval: Review health insurance products and all related documents, including marketing materials, customer communications, and training modules, to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
  3. Process & System Development: Develop and implement compliance systems, processes, and controls for various business functions, such as operations, claims, underwriting, and sales.
  4. Reporting: Establish and manage processes for reporting to regulatory bodies and the Board, ensuring all statutory requirements are met in a timely manner.
  5. Risk Management: Assist in identifying compliance and regulatory risks, analyze their implications, and recommend actions to mitigate them.
  6. Guidance & Training: Provide expert guidance to various functions on applicable laws, regulations, and ethics. Conduct regular compliance workshops and training sessions for all teams.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience with a reputable corporate or MNC, preferably in the insurance sector.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to implement them effectively across an organization.
