Appian Architect

We are seeking an experienced Appian Architect to join our team at PyjamaHR. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the development of high-impact applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop architectural designs for loosely coupled suites of applications, ensuring they align with individual features and overall system architecture.
  • Build and support applications using Appian, focusing on technical design, development, stabilization, and enhancement of Appian applications.
  • Create data model designs, write SQL queries, and develop stored procedures as required to support application functionality.
  • Lead and participate in technical and operations reviews, sharing knowledge and learning from your teammates to enhance the team's overall expertise.
  • Organize, track progress, and maintain documentation using document repositories to ensure clear communication and project tracking.
  • Build and share reusable components to promote efficiency and standardization across projects.
  • Collaborate with other team members and mentor junior resources, helping them achieve their tasks and grow professionally.
  • Work independently on tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Adhere to and participate in standard agile processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Provide after-hours support when necessary, following release management and code deployment processes to migrate code changes smoothly.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or degree in IT/Computer Applications.
  • Indepth knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with management tools such as QC and JIRA.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
  • Work exposure in Agile projects with a solid understanding of Agile ceremonies and tools like JIRA.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact independently with business and global counterparts.
  • A strong willingness to learn new technologies and work on new projects.
  • Ability to handle ad-hoc requests and manage Agile projects with a flexible and adaptive approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in providing after-hours support.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a technical team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering successful Appian solutions.
  • Experience in release management and code deployment processes.
