Last Mile Delivery Supervisor

This role involves overseeing the end-to-end management of logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries and optimized routes.
A key aspect of this position is managing a team of delivery personnel to meet performance standards. This includes leading and guiding them, resolving any issues that may arise, and providing feedback for improvement.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing cash handling operations and ensuring daily reconciliation of cash collected during deliveries.
Effective communication skills are essential in this role, as is the ability to track and report on key metrics such as delivery performance, return to origin, and other KPIs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics with a focus on last-mile delivery operations or 4-5 years of experience for senior logistics executives.
- Prior experience in managing teams and cash reconciliation is essential.
- Strong knowledge of city and nearby areas is necessary.
- Hands-on experience with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of logistics metrics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets is required.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. They should also have prior experience in logistics management and be proficient in using various tools and software to manage operations efficiently.
