Our organization is dedicated to designing and developing cutting-edge medical devices. We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Hardware Specialist to join our team.
As a Medical Device Hardware Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of medical device hardware. This includes designing multi-layer PCBs, creating schematics and PCB layouts, integrating hardware components, and ensuring compliance with medical device regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, experience with PCB design tools, and knowledge of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, and thermal management in PCB design. You will also be responsible for working closely with embedded engineers, manufacturing teams, and component suppliers to ensure smooth hardware-software integration and design-for-manufacturing principles are applied.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in PCB design, with exposure to medical device development being highly preferred.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or OrCAD.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal PCB designs.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, and thermal management in PCB design.
- Understanding of medical device regulatory standards, including FDA guidelines.
- Experience with hardware communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, or CAN.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong problem-solving attitude.
