About the Role
  • Participate in daily operations of incident, service, and change request management according to company standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot client systems for optimal performance.
  • Involved in consolidation, automation, and performance optimization of systems and services.
  • Document operations and services for seamless knowledge transfer.
  • Research and implement methods, tools, and solutions, providing training to team members.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools for routine tasks.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

The team collaborates closely with international Backup teams, working together to deliver exceptional results. Our work processes are based on best practices, following ITIL standards (IT Infrastructure Library).

Requirements
  • Relevant bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the IT industry, preferably in a service-oriented environment dealing with system and backup operations.
  • Experience in enterprise-level backup and recovery solutions, including Tape Libraries (IBM and Spectra Logic).
  • Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to create short scripts to automate routine work.
  • Working knowledge in Network & VMware, as well as experience in operating and troubleshooting Windows & Unix platforms.
  • Adept in troubleshooting Windows/Unix and application errors.
  • Detail-oriented and process-oriented, with a focus on quality and improvement.
  • Familiarity with Backup Exec, TSM, Proxmox, and Maintenance and operations of Data Domain, HPE storeOnce would be an asset.
