Software Development Engineer

Role Description:

Technology development involves applying computer science principles to design, build, maintain scalable and sustainable technology products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, building, and testing new systems from the ground up with minimal support.
  • Collaborates with local teams and partner teams.
  • Ensures quality standards.
  • Identifies performance issues and optimizes solutions.
  • Applies knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.
  • Leverages end-to-end engineering for projects and problems of complex scope and impact.
  • Strong software delivery fundamentals including automated testing, source control, continuous integration, and deployment.
  • Responsible for ensuring engineering teams meet production SLAs of applications/systems.

Requirements, Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities:

  • BS or MS in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ yrs. professional experience in practice area
  • Java/spring boot, Design patterns, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres SQL, CD/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, Kafka, Agile methodology, Test frameworks

Candidates with microservices architecture pattern knowledge will be prioritized.
