High Performance Computing Expert

The role involves designing, building, and supporting high-performance computing infrastructure to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess current AI infrastructure requirements and future growth needs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Design, deploy, and support AI infrastructure including CPU, GPU, middleware, and orchestration tools for efficient operation.
  • Configure and manage parallel file systems (PFS) and network file systems (NFS) for seamless data transfer.
  • Install and configure libraries and compilers for optimized code execution.
  • Deploy and manage monitoring and observability tools for AI clusters to ensure real-time performance tracking.
  • Manage network infrastructure and troubleshoot issues with InfiniBand, ROCE switches, UFM, NetQ, and other tools for optimal network performance.

Required Skills:

  • Languages: C, C++, bash, Python
  • Schedulers and Resource Management: PBS, SLURM, Grid Engine, LSF
  • Cluster Management: xCAT, Bright Cluster Manager, War wolf
  • Monitoring: Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, Gangalia
  • Compilers and Libraries: GNU, Intel, OpenMPI, Cuda, MPI
  • Networking: InfiniBand/ROCE/UFM/Ethernet/DPU
