Responsibilities
  • Lead technical initiatives and make sound technology decisions with confidence, convincing others about the choices.
  • Combine technical expertise with effective solutions design, driving business value through technology.
  • Recruit, inspire, and develop team members with new technology stacks and market trends.
  • Be a role model for developers who want to grow their careers in becoming architects.
  • Respond to RFCs with comprehensive, well-communicated technical architecture and solutions.
  • Communicate cross-functionally with various teams and stakeholders to drive engineering efforts.
  • Pursue high-quality products with passion for technology.
  • Establish a constant learning platform for team members in communication and leadership areas.
  • Adapt to ever-changing business needs and make the team adjust to necessary changes.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience building software solutions in an enterprise or startup engineering environment using multiple languages.
  • 5+ years' experience in architecture complex solutions for low latency, zero downtime, and highly available transactional environments.
  • Proven track record in delivering products/services in a high-growth environment, identifying and solving ambiguous customer-focused problems.
  • Experience handling at least 2-3 projects simultaneously for different clients is a plus.
  • Ability to narrow down complex issues with common sense and solving them or providing the right direction for a solution.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities in delegating work and being responsible for the product.
  • Good written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of API design and distributed backend systems.
  • Experience with Cloud Managed native and IaaS services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Should have working knowledge of Application security and performance.
  • Experience with Microservices, REST, SOAP, and API gateways.
  • Prior experience working for product companies.
  • Must have developer and designer experience in one of these core languages: C++, Java, Python, NodeJS, .Net.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
