Key Position: Data Strategist

We seek an exceptional data strategist to lead our corporate finance functions by designing and implementing cutting-edge data strategies, leveraging advanced analytics and cloud technologies.

This role demands collaboration with senior stakeholders to develop technical solutions that drive business outcomes. Key areas of focus include:

  • Developing end-to-end data and analytics solution architectures from concept to delivery.
  • Designing conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions.
  • Evaluating industry-accepted data architecture principles and integrating them with allied disciplines.
  • Driving the design, sizing, setup, and management of Azure environments and related services.
  • Mentoring development and business teams on data architecture design and requirements.
  • Reviewing solution requirements and architecture to ensure technology selection and resource utilization are optimized.

We're looking for a candidate who can advise on new technology trends and their adoption to maintain a competitive edge.

Essential Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in delivering multiple data solutions.
  • Expertise in ETL development using SSIS, Data Factory, and related Microsoft and other ETL tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, Azure Data Lake, and ability to configure and administrate all aspects.
  • Experience with normalized, denormalized, star, and snowflake data models.
  • Data Quality Management and Data Architecture standardization expertise.
  • Advanced study/knowledge in computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development methodologies.
