Oracle APEX Developer Job Description

Job Summary:

The role involves designing, developing and maintaining Oracle APEX applications to meet the organization's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oracle APEX Development:
  • Design, develop and maintain high-quality Oracle APEX applications
  • Optimize application performance for efficient user experience
  • Create configurable reports and reusable components to enhance application functionality
  • PL/SQL Development:
  • Design, develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, triggers etc.
  • Write complex SQL queries and optimize them for maximum performance
  • Develop reusable components to improve code quality
  • Oracle LDAP:
  • Understand Oracle LDAP structure and perform reading and updating operations on LDAP directories
  • Integrate Oracle APEX applications with Oracle LDAP for secure authentication and authorization
  • Manage and troubleshoot LDAP-related issues and configurations
  • Unix & Shell Scripting:
  • Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation of database tasks, data loading and processes
  • Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of feed files and ensure secure transfer of data
  • Have knowledge in SSH, SFTP and file encryption protocols
  • ETL Processes & Data Loading:
  • Design and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation and loading
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the ETL process
  • Develop scripts and tools for data loading and migration
  • REST & Web Service API:
  • Develop and consume REST and Web Service APIs in Oracle APEX applications
  • Ensure secure and efficient communication between systems through API calls
  • Have familiarity with various authentications in web service calls
