Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at Awign. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable software solutions using a range of technologies including React JS, Java, Kotlin, and PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with technical leads and development teams to ideate software solutions.
  2. Design client-side and server-side architecture.
  3. Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
  4. Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
  5. Contribute to establishing data acquisition and retention policies.
  6. Contribute to design machine learning and natural language processing approaches to mine our data and generate value for the end-users.
  7. Write effective APIs.
  8. Build robust test frames to ensure software remains responsiveness and efficient.
  9. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
  10. Create security and data protection settings.
  11. Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
  12. Excellent understanding of and experience with cloud-native architectures, frameworks, applications, and API/microservices, IaaS, PaaS, and Cloud technologies, emerging technologies, and the ability to drive technology innovations.
  13. Write technical documentation.
  14. Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.
  15. DevOps experience - Core understanding of and experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), including exposure to world-class system and application.

Skills Required:

  • React JS, Java, Kotlin, Cloud SQL, Swagger, Redis, Circle CI, React, react-query/redux, spring jpa, spring boot, PostgreSQL
  • HTML/CSS, SCSS/SASS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, Figma, and UI/UX design
  • Twilio, SEON, Firebase
  • Jenkins/Hashicorp Terraform / Ansible / Docker, Grable, Github, Jira
  • Cloud-based stack and multiple products within it, including serverless features

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant software experience as a full-stack developer
  • Good knowledge of React JS, React Native, Java Back End, AWS, react-query/redux, spring jpa, spring boot
  • 7-9 years of experience in multiple technology domains, mobile, desktop
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience in payments, financial markets
  • BS in computer science/computer engineering or equivalent
  • Ideally working experience in blockchain projects
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries, e.g. HTML/CSS, SCSS/SASS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, and UI/UX design
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages; Kotlin, Java, JavaScript frameworks React
  • Familiarity with databases, e.g. PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with Smart contracts in solidity or other smart contract virtual machines would be a plus
