Quality Assurance Software Engineer

  • Create robust and efficient software solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system failures caused by errors in software code.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, user guides, and customer training materials.
  • Design and implement unit tests to ensure adherence to test plans and functional/nonfunctional requirements.
  • Participate in code review sessions to improve code quality and best practices.
  • Estimate project work efforts and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Analyze and design software mechanisms to enhance code stability, performance, and re-usability.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in Engineering practices and implement changes.
  • Stay current with industry trends and disseminate knowledge to team members.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve project objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software design and development.
  • In-depth understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
  • Strong development, debugging, automated unit testing, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Database design experience.
  • MQTT message broker knowledge.
  • Performance optimization skills.
  • Agile Scrum methodologies expertise.
  • Experience with continuous integration systems like Jenkins/Harness.
  • Deep knowledge of secure solution design principles.
  • Experience with multi-threaded backend environments and concurrent users.
