Job Title: Structural Geologist

We are seeking an experienced Structural Geologist to analyze the three-dimensional relationships of rocks that have been subjected to various levels of deformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Map regional and local structural fault frameworks in 2D and 3D using seismic data
  2. Conduct stress and strain analysis, rock mechanics, and fluid flow studies to identify structural features
  3. Generate structural cross-sections and maps to provide insights into geological formations

Requirements:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Geology or Earth Science with a focus on structural geology or basin analysis
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in upstream oil and gas exploration, preferably as a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SME)
  • A proven track record of fault framework analysis, structural mapping, and geomechanics expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of geomechanics, including stress and strain analysis, rock mechanics, and fluid flow
  • Experience with structural modeling software and techniques to support decision-making
