Web Development Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Web Development Manager to lead and mentor our team of developers, overseeing full-cycle web development projects from requirement gathering to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of web developers and project managers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned with business goals.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP frameworks and WordPress, adhering to best practices in coding and architecture.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, collaborating with clients, designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Implement best practices in coding, architecture, and project management, conducting regular code reviews and performance evaluations for the development team.
  • Utilize project management methodologies to track deliverables, manage risks, and drive efficiency, ensuring adherence to web standards, data security, and compliance protocols.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects, preferably with PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter) and in-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, as well as hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Agile/Scrum project management experience.
